Kellas Estate Catering

Alistair has been providing Catering at Kellas Estate since 2014. The catering provided varies depending on the group in-house and the seasons. Dinners can be for Shooting, Fishing, Golfing or Whisky groups, or whilst catering for special family gatherings. Shooting lunches, along with cooked and Continental Breakfasts are also regular features. Kellas Estate provides a fantastic base for a memorable experience in beautiful surroundings and Alistair can provide high quality catering to enhance the stay even further.
Kellas has been a real mainstay over the years and a great relationship has been established in that time. It's definitely one of the real pleasures of the job and it is great to be able to cater for so many repeat and familiar faces each year.
Europa Mini Cooks - First ever Scottish Branch!

Alistair has been involved with the Mini Cooks project since 2019. He is the Team Leader for the Elgin branch of this wonderful initiative, which has been running in Europe for over 30 years. The Elgin Branch, the first of its kind in Scotland, was established in 2022 and has been running with pupils from Bishopmill Primary School and in conjunction with the Hospitality & Tourism Academy at UHI Moray.
The programme offers Hospitality experiences and education to 10-12 year old kids, who learn about healthy eating, nutrition, local producers, preparation and cooking techniques and restaurant service skills. The 2-year programme culminates with a Gala Dinner and Graduation ceremony once the Mini Cooks have passed their final Theory exam!
The hope is that the programme will continue to thrive here in Moray and start to spread further and wider as more people find out about its enormous benefits. If successful, the programme may start to provide the future stars of the Hospitality Industry in a few years!
Alistair takes huge pride and enjoyment from the Mini Cooks work and would welcome discussions with anyone who is keen to support this fantastic initiative in any way.
Please have a look at the site above and check out what the Elgin Branch were up to.
